Quick.ink has rolled out a new update focused less on booking itself and more on everything around it. Now that the core booking and management tools have settled into a stable place, the platform is shifting toward helping users discover artists and helping artists get seen.

New discovery tools allows users to search for artists, studios, and tattoo styles more naturally, while artists can better showcase their work without relying only on bookings. Public pages have been redesigned across the board, making profiles cleaner and easier to browse. Everything published publicly is also structured to appear in Google search results, giving artists access to a much wider audience beyond the platform itself.

Portfolios now live in a shared public pool, meaning users can explore tattoos across the entire platform instead of jumping profile to profile. Images within portfolios also support upvotes and downvotes, giving a clearer sense of what work resonates most. For artists, this doubles as lightweight feedback on what clients are drawn to.

Events have also been introduced. Conventions and similar gatherings can now be listed, followed, and explored. Artists can mark attendance, and users can keep track of where their favorite artists will be.

Flash tattoos get their own space too. Artists can now post flash designs even if they are not subscribed to the booking system, opening the door for more casual participation and visibility.

On the user side, favorites now extend across artists, studios, tattoos, and events, making it easier to keep track of what matters without digging back through searches.

There are also a few practical updates in the mix. The platform has seen performance improvements that noticeably reduce load times. Messaging has been added as well, with an in-app chat that allows artists to connect with each other and gives clients a way to reach out when contact is enabled.

Looking ahead, Quick.ink is preparing to launch self-booking for non-subscribed artists. This will allow artists to open specific time slots where clients can book directly, with options for manual approval or automatic confirmation tied to deposits.

We hope that these new tools and systems can help clients and artists match for the best experiences possible!
